Scam Proof Your Work At Home Career

Its inevitable – when you start working from home, you’ll find that there are alot more scams out there than legitimate opportunities; and if you’re not careful, it won’t take you long to fall into some kind of scheme.

Work at home scams fall into many categories.  Scams can be in the form of a job advertisement, supplemental income, education or scholarship offers, jackpots/lottery offers and mostly home based business opportunities.

The most common work at home scam is job scams; and despite that people are told time and time again to beware of these scams, some still fall for them.

The key to avoiding scams is to listen to sound advice and then apply it as a rule of thumb. There should always be a guideline or “red flag” list to use when judging jobs.  Everyone’s list is different – but the key to becoming a scam buster is to first understand scams and then second have standards.

Before you can develop what you will and won’t accept, you have to first understand what a scam looks like. So learning what scams consist of and how scammers use schemes to trap people is essential to your success. When developing standards during your job search, you need to figure out what you will and will not accept.  This helps set the tempo of your journey and weed out all of those fake and scammy offers.

In this section, I will be providing various articles, samples, tips and alerts about scams. Please feel free to send me any new scams, schemes or tricks that you fell victim to or seen on the Internet. It would be greatly appreciated! View my articles >>
