A Family Together = Success!
In order for the telecommuting life to work, your spouse and kids must understand and agree to abide by a list of basic do’s and dont’s while you’re working. Additionally, the family will need to understand that tending to scheduled chores and helping out with other things around the house will be very important.
There are 2 main areas that you should focus on getting support: The Spouse and The Children.
Without support from your spouse, working from home will not work. Without cooperation from your children, working from home will not work. Though it may seem like everything is “doable” in the beginning, everything will eventually become too overwhelming to manage.
